Item to Item Trades
From Outwar Wiki
In order to make it so that people could trade items for items or just give items away, Item to Item Trading was introduced.
The approach is rather simple. You can begin a trade by clicking the link on a player's profile.
At that point you will be directed to a page with 3 boxes.
- The upper left box will be the items you are currently offering/about to offer.
- The upper right box will be the items the other player is currently offering.
- The bottom box will contain your tradeable items. You can add items from here to your trade box by clicking on them one at a time.
- The upper left box will be the items you are currently offering/about to offer.
Whenever you feel you have reached a fair trade click the accept this trade button.
Once you and the other player have clicked the accept button you will receive a message in the outwar message center saying that you have completed the trade. Your items should be taken/arrive shortly thereafter.
Whenever you have an item trade in progress (you can only have one at a time), whether it is started by you or someone else there will be an icon that appears on your outwar toolbar around the same spot where your "You have been attacked", and your "You have new messages" icons appear. It resembles a white circle with blue arrows.
Warning: Make sure the other player has put all of their items up for trade and examine them thoroughly before you click accept or you may lose your items or end up with something you didn't agree on.
Warning 2: If you wish to trade something for points do not use the Item to Item Trades, use the Treasury, some people claim they don't like the hassle of say - buying a bunch of sets off of the treasury, this is most likely a scam to get your items for free. If you do this you will be using the wrong feature to get something done, and as such you are not entitled to support on this matter.
