Quest Items

Quest items are items that are necessary to move forward in a Quest.

Quest items can be obtained in a variety of ways:

• They can be a drop from a mob
  

• Sometimes you have to have the associated quest, sometimes you don't.
  
• Sometimes the mobs that drop them don't even appear without the quest.
  

• They can be given to you by a quest mob.
  
• They can be a drop from a raid.
  
  

What you do with a quest item depends on the quest:

• Some of them need to be used in the Cauldron
  
• Some have to be given to the quest mob
  
• Some merely have to be shown to the quest mob
  
• Some must be used/activated to progress in the quest.
  
  

Most quest items will end up in your quest backpack, but some quest items may be Potions or Equipment and end up in those backpacks instead.

• Some quest items are player bound, some aren't
  
• Your quest backpack will never fill so there is never a need to drop quest items.
